Now since the new firmware v40 has been hacked this should be possible. However as the process seems - at least a little bit complicated/risky - I'm not keen to do it straight away if I can't get any real benefits from it, i.e. Ttpod being superior to the default app. So my questions are: * Is Ttpod worth the hack, will I get a faster music app as the default music app from Nokia leaves a lot to be desired regarding usage speed and interface? * Can I browse albums so that the album covers are directly displayed (similarly to Uiq3 Walkman phones)? |

@tropicaltuna, on a personal note I like this player, but the performance is not great for me. It has now been tried on the last 2 fw releases and it is just not as fast as the default app for me.
It always has a small lag, especially adjusting volume.
Shame really as the skins and visualisations make this some nice eye candy.

I signed the file, even though, when I try to install I get "Update Error". What's wrong? I have TTPod 3.62 installed, maybe I should 3.5? EDIT: Uninstalled 3.62 and installed 3.51 and Chinese pack still didn't work. Even after signed, get same "Update Error" message. EDIT 2: Okay, TTPod is working on my unhacked phone without the patch. How odd is that? I don't care! |
