The guys at Womworld have been nice to send us one N97 mini (trial) to to lend out to our readers. The contest is very simple, just write / upload video / photo on WHY you should get to trial the N97 Mini. Different kind of media is also allowed so you can record a video, upload pics etc. The contest will end on Wednesday 11thRules:1: You cannot keep the N97 mini, its just for trial and you'll need to send back the phone after the trial ends (Nokia will pay for the shipment) 2: You need to be 18+ to be a part of this contest. 3: The winner is chosen by the moderators. 4: Only 1 post / member and IP. (Cheaters will be banned from this forum) 5: This thread is ONLY for the contest so do not start chatting etc.

I would like to try the N97 Mini to see how my poor and tired Nokia 5800 measures up to one of nokia's latest devices: 1) I want to see if the physical keyboard, digital compass and other hardware improvements are a big improvement on my 5800. 2) I want to be able to type an email or an SMS and actually have a window big enough to view the text that I am typing without the screen being taken up by a poorly designed on screen keyboard. 3) I want to see if scrolling though menus and messages with kinetic scrolling really is better and quicker and more usable than the scroll bar. 4) I want to use a music player that gives me information about the music I am listening to and shows bigger images in the information. 5) I want to see if the memory improvements implemented actually do allow you to run multiple applications in the background and still browse to the dailymobile.se and not have the browser tell me that it is out of memory. 6) I want to be able to store more of my applications in the built in memory and still having more than 30GB's left after various applications are installed 7) I want to always be connected with home screen widgets and see if they really make the difference for 5th edition.
I want to see if Symbian really is a capable OS or is it time to head for Maemo or Android?

Oh good news for us,N97 users. As a N97 2.0 user i got many weird bugs. So i would like to give it try. Reasons: 1.What's special in this stuff? 2.How much speed it would give? 3.In what ways it is inferior to N97,by size or memory, but am sure it will be bugs free. 4.How much it weighs for me? 5.Whats diff in cam quality? 6.Sound output too. 7.Touch response. 8.Getting GPS in/out in what speed? 9.Phone memory. 10.RAM space. 11.Typing keypad, also alphanumeric keypad. 12.Importantly browser speed, stability, non crash, flash support. 13.Sliding perfomance. 14.sound output through headphones,FM transmitter. Now these only above... It might grow longer.

Being a blogger who talks/writes on mobile phones, I am very much interested in getting my hands on this N97's younger brother. I have reviewed E75 and also handling the N97 these days. I am very much interested in checking out the N97 Mini, as I anna know what was going in Nokia's mind when they came up with the concept of N97 Mini. I mean its almost like the N97 without the D-Pad and may be a bit smaller in size. N97 Mini's launch hs confused many of my readers especially in India. Handling the N97 Mini will give me a chance to educate my Indian readers on why they should or should not go fro the Mini.

I am interested in getting a new phone and the N97 mini is a choice that I'm considering. Starting my own business I will need a phone that will enable me to be and stay connected all day in order to make my business a success. The N97 mini is fits the bill in the sense that it is a great phone to have for email, internet, storage, business-like functionality and storage capacity. The camera will help in taking great resolution images when I need to. And finally it is one great looking phone that will let me do my work with style.

First, I'm a current N97 user and I want to know if this is worthy as a replacement. I'm not replacing my N97 because I hate it. It is because I might find it practical on N97 mini, as I noticed I don't use up the whole 32GB, FM transmitter, and I want to know how significant the new amount phone memory they put in. I want to observe first if my few favourite applications perform when they are all installed in the phone memory rather than in the mass memory (of my N97).
But the real thing that intrigues me is the new layout of the keyboard as I use this more often to successfully send my novel-length messages and review posts. Upon looking at it will surely make me happy with a more ergonomically arranged keys -- I hope so..
Aside from that, I'm also considering N900 also and X6, or even the Motorola Droid.
But I am mostly after for a keyboard-ed phone that is more pocketable and easy to type on.
I do believe that there are a lot of pretty changes with N97 mini, and they won't promote it this way if there is none at all.

I really want to test the flagship device for the development of custom UI. The themeing is too hard for N97/N97 mini, as 5800 or rest s60v5 handset doesn't carries the features & elements of N97/N97 mini at the moment. Other than themeing I would like to test the speed, & the features to know what makes N97/N97 mini so special than other s60v5 handset released till date. A review is the part after the test.

I have a strange feeling that: N97 Mini is my destiny.. N97 Mini will be part of my daily life.. N97 Mini will rock the world.. N97 Mini wont be mini as it looks when I got it.. and lastly N97 Mini and I are destined for each other.. Me, myself & N97 Mini..
