anyone tried video call with skype on n900?

is it ever possible to use front facing camera with skype or video calling like n97? does it need to be activated from settings or somewhere else?

yea i tried it with skype and even with fring, i couldnt do it

i read somewhere thats imposible. that secondary camera wont work. its there but it doesnt work. they said that it might work in future after some update. keep fingers crossed

yes it does work in mirror and we said somewhere else that mirror suck. camera works but quality is terrible and its application fault not the camera. they are still developing software so im sure you will be able to use that camera with skype in future

On the Dutch Tweakers.net forum I just read;

ik kom er net achter dat je wel video gesprekken kan voeren tussen de n900 en een windows pc met de google talk video en chat plugin. je moet de video chat starten vanaf de windows pc, want dat kan nog niet op vanaf de n900. Nadat de video chat is opgezet kan je wel de front camera op n900 aan/uit doen, want dan verschijnt er wel een camera knop.
cool! De kwaliteit van de front cam is trouwens duidelijk beter met de nieuwe firmware update, nog steeds niet goed, maar ok als er voldoende licht is.

I been using it with google talk camera works ok.
