Mine is now playing up.  Formatted my memory card, did a refresh on the media library, showed nothing, copied all my songs to it, did another refresh but its still showing 75 songs even though there's only 15 on the card.  When it tries to play any of the songs that aren't on the memory card it comes up with a file corupt message. Tired to delete the songs from the library directly but getting the corupt message again so can't do anything with it.  Will prob end up doing a hard reset but didn't really want to do it Sad

I've had the same problem of home screen widget visible even after exiting the player from the task manager. It happens not only with songs from my card but also radio widget.
But dont have any problem with the files/card by itself. What I did was, I restart the application and then exit again from the options. Most of the times it works.

After getting tired of this now I changed my home screen theme to shortcut bar. Now I dont face any problem. Of course it doesnt look as cool as the contacts but definitely much snappier and I think this is what is made for 5800.

The home screen widget has no controls but I always listen to music in earphones via the remote, so that is not an issue and with the kinetic scrolling enabled I dont have the need for home screen contacts coz searching for contact is just a flick of your finger away and it is really smooth.

So I dont think if it helps any of you but sometimes I feel tired of trying various things to fix a problem but ending up adding more.

It happened with me when my phone freezes all the time after the v31 update. Finally I formated my memory card and hard reset my phone and restore only the contacts and messages. It was a hard time.
Good luck.
