no it doesn't autostart; i think that "c:\private\101f875a\import\[e0050c10].rsc"  gets converted by the software installation process in "c:\private\101f875a\startup\[e0050c10].dat", and only the latter file is the true autorun entry for rompatcher; the .rsc and .dat file are similar but not the same; i think that the .rsc file is the resource file used by the installer to create the .dat autorun file, but i don't know how the .dat file is calculated from the .rsc, nor if putting directly a proper .dat file in rom would work for autorun; in rp+ 2.3 install file, installation script wants the .rsc file directly created on c:\private\101f875a, regardless of the chosen install path for the app; i don't think symbian parses z:\private\101f875a for applications automatic startup.

lil correction i used the wrong rom which i did the same hacked version lol my mistake , now i unpacked the right one which is the v3 for me but after doing the hack everything i try to repack it again its getting bigger is this normal mate like 133 now its 260 the whole firmware the file it self which ive done the edition on it its bigger now ??

just turn the rompatcher off all patches disable then restart the fone and try removing whatever you wanted to remove (uninstall)

i didnt made any cfw but soon i am planing to make one with inserting n97 widet screen and all the tweaks and mod but at present i dont have time

in the original hacked firmware rompatcher is included in .UDA and .rofs2 files ..you just need to install rp lite so that autorun function works!!!

I added rompatcher binary files to rofs2 in sys/bin, without adding nothing in sys/hash ; rompatcher works .

I meant to say that .ldd files are already present in the hacked firmware...it means when you flash hacked firmware on your phone,rom patcher is pre-installed...Only problem everyone is facing is that this rom patcher doesn't auto-start the patches after we reboot the phone...
    So simple solution is manually apply all the patches and then install rplite 2.2 or 2.3..both will do..but go for 2.3 if you have!!!...
   After this all patches will autostart even after reboot...
             Don't know why people are trying to correct errors of default rom patcher{no auto start} when there is a simple solution!!!!!

Guys , i need help .Last night i edited rofs2 which is z: i made these changes copied the hack to z exactly where it should be after repacking using the right method how to unpack and repack the drive i did everything more than once every time after a repack the nokia editor freezes and works again then i get the rofs2 file size like 160 mb what iam missing , so i treid to trick dumb the program , i converted the file to img and renamed it to fat16 and repacked then renamed it again with the same name of rofs2 in this way i got 36 mb size , treid to flash it pheonix said everything is done but fone is bricked only white scren and turns off again np , i did a flash dead usb flashing now iam running a hacked 21 but i want to make the hack on z so i can hard reset after flashing and save free space again please anyone any solution or why iam getting this .

I think the size limit is somewhere between 29-33 MB, that's why it was bricked after flash, because you had 36.

i know , but the question is why is this happening i only made the hack on z which is less than 1 mb , and another thing i got 36mb my way if i used the normal way with nokia editor i get 160 mb iam like wtf is going on i dont understand it from 23.8mb copying to the rom less then 1 mb and i get after repacking 160mb i dont know , i dumbed the program the nokia editor i converted rofs 2 to img file then renamed it to fat16 and then repackde it this is how i got 36 mb with the original way after repacking iam getting 160 mb
