Hi,

I am trying to get the Orange HS to work with my Nokia 5800 V.40 firmware RM-428.
It was working fine before i updated the firmware and was also working fine after the update.  I wanted to see the new contacts bar home screen so i switched the HS theme.  When i tried to change it back to the Orange HS, it does not put a checkmark next to it but just flashes back to the new contacts HS.  I've installed and uninstalled multiple times with multiple reboots but nothing.  I've tried signed versions and unsigned (since my phone was still hacked).
What might be interesting is that the Vodaphone HS works perfectly but not the Orange.  Can anyone please help, i've been searching for hours and trying different things but nothing.  People have it working with the new firmware so i know it works.

Any help would be appreciated.  I have already searched this and other forums and some of them just point a reference to another thread which results in the same issue.

Thanks

Thanks for replying. That's actually the last file that i tried before posting the question.
I didn't do the hard reset after updating the firmware because i didn't want to lose anything.  Hard reset erases everything (applications etc on c: and e: drives) correct?

I really love the Orange HS and do want it so if this is the only way then i will for sure do it.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you fix it?

Thanks

if you don't want to hardreset your phone, you can do manually with x-plore :

remove 00000000 (2).reg from c:\sys\install\sisregistry\1028315f
remove 00000000.reg from c:\sys\install\sisregistry\1028315f
remove 00000000.reg from c:\sys\install\sisregistry\20017cd9
remove 00000000_0000 (2).ctl from c:\sys\install\sisregistry\1028315f
remove 00000000_0000.ctl from c:\sys\install\sisregistry\1028315f
remove 00000000_0000.ctl from c:\sys\install\sisregistry\20017cd9

Thanks for the replies folks.  I ran into other issues with the new firmware so had to hard reset my phone.  Lost the hack but once i re-installed the firmware, i loaded the orange hs again and this time it worked perfectly.

I edited the sis file liliantungary suggested (wanted the green color) and it works and looks great.

everything mate, absolutely. The phone starts as if it was started for the first time since factory. Except the fact that the life timer doesn't reset.
