Nokia PC Suite is really necessary? I have Ovi Suite 2 installed.

i think nokia pc suite is the same as ovi suite so you do not need pc suite.

the video is fantastic, but nevertheless something went wrong flashing my 5800 v40

PC Suite same as Ovi, cable drivers are still insatlled. As long as you can sync your phone in pc suite mode its fine
