With all this possibility to cook firmwares is possible to add codecs for our phones? For example to make it play divx, xvid, mkv and etc???
Thanks  Grin

Those codecs are pretty heavy for the CPU. I don't think it has the muscle to decode MPEG4 and such.

-8 icon? What's that?
-My buttons on Omnia HS are working quite well. Will have to have a look at that.
-Didn't understand that last question. None the soft keys on at least the 6 icons HS can be assigned to dialer. To access dialer, press white button, then green button.

here is 8 icons

everything works fine, only a few complains if you could fix in the next version Smiley add orange and voda homescreen, remove the 8 icon hs since it needs 2themes patch in rompatcher, also change the 5530 hs to the original contacts hs Smiley cause there is telephone which is good, but on the right side there is xplore :S which leads to messeging Sad

Ooo-kay. Now I'm confused. Are you sure you are using my rofs? Because there is no "8 icons" in my phone. It's running version M09.

EDIT: I'm looking into it...

In that case it should be inherited all the way to M09. Strange that I haven't seen anything odd.
I'm working on it. Digging into the rofs as we speak.

Version M10 in the first post.
I've tried to restore Nokia's default Contacts HS and Shortcuts HS to the CFW. There was some clutter in those folders.
There should be these five homescreens: Contacts HS, Shortcuts HS, Omnia HS, 6 icon HS and Navigation bar HS.

Please report if there is anything odd. My phone seems to be working just fine. Which is odd enough. All my homescreens do exactly what they are supposed to do.
If the homescreens in M10 work badly and you feel that it's too annoying, I recommend returning to M06 or earlier. For the time being, that is.

EDIT: I also noticed the modified homescreens are all in english. If you choose any other phone language, the HS will still be in english. The two default homescreens have all 6 languages in the pack.

with m10, is the homescreen on landscape enabled? its quite annoying having that feature in my opinion. Plus, it also is very buggy with the 5530 homescreen..

Since M07, Ovi Store hasn't been in ROM. It's impossible to uninstall if it's in ROM. It's also impossible to update. That's why I removed it.

Landscape is not enabled on HS in any version of my CFW. And never will be.

Can't you find it on Navifirm? Download the firmware from there and cook the rofs file. There's a tutorial on this forum.

Ovi Store can be uninstalled in Application Manager.
Or by going to the menu that contains the Ovi Store icon, select Options>Organise. Select the Ovi Store icon, then Options>Remove.

I think you are in the wrong thread, by the way...  Roll Eyes
