Our partner INDT helped us create this fantastic UI Library based on the popular jQuery javascript library. This library is was created for the S60 Web Runtime and supports touch and touch inputs. This library is now public for 3rd party developers

If they will do that like with QT (no app so far), then no benefit for us, users.

Problem with Qt is that it needs a huge set of libraries installed. A Qt app .SIS file with all dependencies is so big the Ovi Store can't handle it. And Ovi refuses any app that requires the user download libraries separately. Qt apps won't take off until Nokia starts including Qt in firmware.

Guarana UI uses WRT already installed in your phone. That should make it much more attractive to devs in the short term.

If anyone wants to try it out, here's the demo of the "datepicker" control  Cool Should work on any S60V5 device. And since it's a WRT app, no signing or hacking is require to install!
