It works ok in my 5800, had to try installation 3 times coz i was getting error, even with the sis file in mem. card, i installed it in memory card also, works ok for over a week now.
It takes ages to install...

Register or Loginhttp://www.tube5800.com/windows-live-messenger-now-official-on-nokia-5800/ wich seems to be the one wich was on the OVI store but it doesn't work on my phone, installation cancelled just at the end. Anyone as the same problem ? Cannot be sure but i think it's due to the new firmware V40. As it worked before on my mobile. |

i have the new fw 2.1 for n97 and it also cancelled at the end of the installation so i guess i has to do with the new fw. and i think thats the reason why it isnt available in the ovistore anymore.

hi, my sis had the same problem of 90% contacts, she removed all categories from her hotmail address book (ie friends, family, work etc) so all contacts are in one place.
this fixed the problem
Yeap that's true!! I try it anda succes!!  I'm trying install Windos Live Messenger since 3 months but always It stops (%90)when downloading contacts. I try to remove my gruops form hotmail. After that It downloads all contasts!! my phone is: 5800blue V40.05 Now It works fine! thak you and your sister  |

The installation gets stuck @ step 3. The progressbar stops filling at 90% (or something like that).
Anyone knows a sollution?
