FOTA means Firmware Over-the-Air.

U need good GPRS or 3g  mobile internet service to download f.w from device update option....(or any wifi LAN service)
go to settings/phone manager /device update....

The info I found tranlated from hungarian by google:

Quote
At the moment there is no any official information on the improvements.
Sil3nt accounts of significant acceleration in the application menu, and some of the factory, received a new icon.

The background for the application to indicate a small circle has changed!
Apparently right now the camera images.
You can also use the secondary camera photography.
He returned to Geotag feature.
However, before the update, only 49 instead of 57 MB of RAM is available after the update.

I understand that geotagging is now available, faster operation, some new icons including the application running sign, camera improvments and possibility to use front camera to take pictures. In the down side there seems to be less RAM available.

Yeah, but the search button is now quite useful as it lets you search all the contents of your mobile phone (people, messages, music, places...).

Yeah, Java performance is now much better. Bounce is actually playable and running almost smooth and the racing game is much less of a slideshow. I hope Nokia continues with these nice performance updates. Cheesy

EDIT: GMail and Opera Mini now have practically no loading times. And the browsing with Opera Mini is a breeze now. ^^

Hi
Neither NSU or Phone management(device updates) detects the new software.
Does anyone have the same problem in the UK?
Cheers

If you cant download a newer version it means your region doesnt have it yet...  Wink

But you can change the product code and update anyway.
